With an interior loading stove, you can open the stove door from inside the sauna and place the wood directly into the firebox without stepping outside. This offers convenience and allows sauna users to easily maintain the fire and add wood without leaving the sauna. However, fire safety is reduced with this type of wood-burning stove due to ambers that might be present inside the sauna.

Unlike interior loading stoves, which are loaded from inside the sauna room, exterior loading stoves require you to load the wood from outside the sauna. With an exterior loading stove, you need to open the stove door from the outside and place the wood into the firebox. This means you may have to step outside briefly to add more wood, interrupting the sauna experience. 1. Foldable benches: Ideal option for hot yoga and stretching while in your sauna at the comfort of your home! No need to go to expensive yoga studios anymore.

Our backrests are mostly made from fine sanded, clear grade Western Red Cedar but we also offer clear grade, vertical grain Hemlock as an option. 4. Concrete pavers: The most common, simple and cost effective foundation for a barrel sauna is a concrete pavers installed and level positioned based on the sauna supports location and layout. Measure the dimensions of your sauna and dig 6-12 inches deep holes, sized 24x24 and each end of the sauna support. Typically the number of concrete pavers needed is twice more than the number of sauna supports.
